Vineyards & Wine

All Chablis is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Some wine experts, believe that the Chablis wine is one of the "purest" expression of the varietal character of Chardonnay simple style favored winemaking in this region. 

Chablis is characterized by its pale yellow color with a greenish tint.

On these calcareous soils, the wines are mainly produced from the traditional Burgundy varieties Chardonnay and Aligoté for the whites and Pinot Black and Gamay for reds. César for red and Sacy for white Melon or are used in smaller amounts.

There is an exception in Saint-Bris, where winemakers produce very aromatic white from Sauvignon ..

The Châtillonnais the kingdom of Crémant de Bourgogne. Near the cuesta of the Châtillonnais you will find centuries old vines planted on limestone and Oxford clay soil which grows harder as you reach the top. Crémant de Bourgogne is made of black Pinot and Chardonnay giving it an ample and fruity taste, traditional of "Blanc de Noirs".

This wine region produces mainly red wines and is a haven for Black Pinot, which is used for the majority of Grands Crus wine region of Burgundy.

Côte de Beaune is the southern part of the Côte d'Or, the limestone ridge which houses the great names of Burgundy wines. Around the town of Beaune, the vineyards are mainly planted with Pinot Black.

The main grapes of the Côte Chalonnaise are the same great grapes found throughout Burgundy - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In addition, it is important to Aligoté plantations around the city Bouzeron.

The Mâconnais area is located in the south of Burgundy wine in France, 

 west of the Saône for white, rosé and red. This white grape variety represents 80% of all vines planted in the region.
